Charting Our Course 🗺

A former mentor told me: “all you need to do is chart your course.”
Easy enough.
I felt my body salute in agreement before the statement had landed fully within my spirit.
Within seconds my brain caught up and questioned fiercely...
How does one chart a course when they haven’t yet learned the purpose of the journey?
An open field.
Wheat stretching wide under a star-filled night.
I’m seated in the middle, feet planted.
A line of white-gold light runs through me, out of me, onto the ground.
Vibrant. Alive.
Steady. Divine.
My life path appears as a glowing thread just above the earth, guiding me forward.
I follow it.
The line guides me into a cloud.
The cloud fills with images.
Family, friends, versions of me.
Clearing as the cloud grows bigger
✨ I am never off course. ✨
What would life look like if we believed this?
Who would we be if we left behind the pieces of ourselves we don’t need to carry anymore?
Perhaps charting our course isn’t about picking a destination. Maybe it’s trusting that golden line that’s been there all along.
Even when we are unsure where we are or where we are heading, we are always on our path.
