This one took me several seasons to complete. 
Spring and summer gone, still unfinished as the months turned colder. 
I felt peace in knowing that it would be completed at exactly the right time. 
I sensed that I shouldn't worry about what to put on the canvas. 
I knew if I waited, that it would begin to come to life. 
I waited. I created. 
I waited. I created. 
I waited again. 
Then as if no time had passed, it was finished. 
 
It delighted me in every way. 
It spoke to my soul, to my spirit. 
She was finally free. 
I was finally free. 
 
I am still unsure of all the symbolism within this piece. 
I keep finding new things to get excited about within all of the colors and lines.
