my life is a reflection of us all 

I'm Mari Pardun and I've always been curious about people, what shapes us and how we find our way through the world. That curiosity runs through my work as an artist and writer, as well as, my work bringing people, ideas and experiences together.

My life moves between the practical and the creative, between bringing ideas to life and giving them room to unfold. Sometimes my curiosity finds its way into intuitive or mixed-media art. Sometimes it becomes poetry, a passing thought or a deep reflection that leads me somewhere unexpected.

Through my art and writing, I explore identity, truth, authenticity, love, connection and what it means to be human. My work reflects my own experiences, but I'm always curious about where they might meet yours.

We each have our own stories and ways of seeing the world. Still, every now and then, something someone else creates puts words to a feeling we've had or opens a door we hadn't noticed before. I love that possibility: creating from my own experience while leaving room for others to discover something about themselves.
